We receive many requests each week needing our help to place cats. AOHS focuses mainly on cats and kittens who are residing at surrounding animal control facilities. While we try to help the general public as much as we can our main focus is pulling at risk cats and kittens from animal control facilities.
AOHS does not have a physical facility. We rely on the foster care network we have developed and operate to take care of the animals until they can be adopted. Due to being a foster based rescue the relinquishment of your pet may take an extended period of time. To help the relinquishment of the animal we may ask for your assistance in fostering the cat or kittens until the animal is ready for adoption.
If you are in need of immediate placement of a cat please contact your local animal control or please try other shelters in your area.
To help us better understand your need to relinquish a cat please send a detailed email to intake@animaloutreachsociety.org and include as much information as you can as to why you need to re-home them (i.e detailed reason for relinquishment, any health concerns, age) and any other information that will help us better understand your and your cats situation.
